Dr. Yao Lu graduated from Tongji University with a Ph.D degree in 2019. She is now an Assistant Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Microelectronics, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China. Her research focus on new energy conversion technology, self-powered intelligent wearable electronics, and thermoelectric cooling technology for chip thermal management. She serves as youth editorial board members of the Materials Futures and Materials Lab journals.
Dr. Lu has published over thirty SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author in prestigious journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology (ESI highly cited), Energy & Environmental Science (ESI highly cited, hot paper), Materials Today Physics, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. She has issued seven China Invention Patents on third generation semiconductor epitaxy and chip technology.
Dr. Lu has been financed by more than ten projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, fellowship of China National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents, fellowship of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Science and Technology Innovation Committee Foundation of Shenzhen. She serves as a youth editorial board member of the Materials Futures and Materials Lab journal, and has been invited to review for renowned SCI journals, including Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, and Journal of Materials Chemistry A. She has given several invited talks at internal conferences.
