貢毅教授長期從事無線通信技術(shù)和通信理論方面的研究工作，在無線通信和通信信號處理領(lǐng)域的國際權(quán)威學術(shù)期刊和會議發(fā)表論文百余篇和國內(nèi)外專利30余項。2006年至2018年先后擔任國際權(quán)威學術(shù)刊物IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications 和 IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology 的編委?，F(xiàn)任廣東省先進無線通信技術(shù)重點實驗室（普通高校）主任和深圳市物聯(lián)網(wǎng)智能信息處理工程實驗室主任。
