丘立,南方科技大學(xué)系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)與智能制造學(xué)院講席教授,IEEE Fellow, IFAC Fellow.
1981年在湖南大學(xué)電氣工程獲學(xué)士學(xué)位, 1987年和1990年在多倫多大學(xué)電氣工程系獲得碩士學(xué)位和博士學(xué)位,其后短期工作于加拿大太空署,滑鐵盧大學(xué),菲爾茲數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)研究所,明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)及其應(yīng)用研究所。1993年開始在香港科技大學(xué)工作,現(xiàn)為電子及計(jì)算機(jī)工程系教授;2015年入駐香港科技大學(xué)深圳研究院成立深圳網(wǎng)絡(luò)物理系統(tǒng)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。
丘立教授曾先后擔(dān)任國際著名期刊IEEE transactions on Automatic Control以及Automatica的編委,第七屆亞洲控制會(huì)議大會(huì)主席, IEEE控制系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)杰出講座團(tuán)成員, IEEE控制系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)理事會(huì)成員,香港自動(dòng)控制學(xué)會(huì)首任主席。丘立教授因?yàn)閷?duì)周期多采樣率系統(tǒng)的最優(yōu)及魯棒控制所作出的貢獻(xiàn),于2006年當(dāng)選為國際電氣與電子工程師學(xué)會(huì)院士(IEEE Fellow),并因?qū)︳敯艨刂萍胺答佅到y(tǒng)性能極限問題所作出的杰出開創(chuàng)性貢獻(xiàn),于2010年當(dāng)選國際自動(dòng)控制聯(lián)盟院士(IFAC Fellow)。
丘立教授多年關(guān)注控制原理的教學(xué),與周克敏教授合著了本科生教科書《Introduction to Feedback Control》于2009年出版,此書現(xiàn)已發(fā)行北美版,國際版,印度版。中國大陸版即將發(fā)行。
